    Maryland Electricity Rates Expected to increase on 12/1/09
    Quarterly electricity tariff rates are expected to increase on December 1, 2009 for Type II accounts in all Maryland service territories. Most business consumers will see increases of 15% to 22%. Fortunately, competitive electric supplier prices are below the utility tariffs. Maryland customers now have the opportunity to reduce costs with competitive supply.
