Born in Great Britain, Kit holds a BSc in Economics with focus on Global Energy Economics. He has been in the energy business for most of his career - more than 25 years. He founded Applied Energy in 2004, and he is the author of our successful growth strategy.
Nelson is the founder of EnergyWise Consulting, based in Lancaster, PA. He is a 25-year veteran of the energy business, and he brings extensive knowledge of the Senior Living industry. Nelson joined AEP when AEP acquired EWC in 2016.
Director of Sales
Tom has a background in education administration, where he managed charter schools and earned two Masters degrees (all while raising twins). Tom joined Applied Energy Partners 6 years ago, and his technology savvy, his organizational skills, and his natural affinity for other people have made a huge contribution to our remarkable growth. He is the Client-facing keystone of our successful auction process.
Susie’s role is Supplier-facing, and her challenge is to manage our substantial Supplier network, ensuring that they are informed about and engaged in our Clients’ auctions. Operating seamlessly with Tom, Susie has perfected an auction process that we consider to be the most effective and efficient in the industry.
Director of Marketing
Rod has a Wharton MBA and 40+ years’ experience with Fortune-100 firms. He is focused on applying consumer marketing principles to the energy business.
Ed is a Licensed Professional Engineer and a Certified Energy Manager. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, and he has over 40 years’ experience in the electric utility business. His experience includes power plant construction; various assignments in both regulated and deregulated markets for industrial and commercial customers; as well as IT and telecommunications. He has worked with Applied Energy Partners since 2010.
Senior Project Manager
Bob has over 30 years’ experience in operations and plant management. He has had directly responsibility for many highly successful capital improvement projects in manufacturing facilities and equipment, with a major focus on cost reduction, operational efficiency gains, and advancing environmental standards.
